Setfords Solicitors is a nationwide UK top-100 law firm that uses a network consultancy approach to allow its lawyers to work remotely. Its 'dispersed' model encourages flexible working practices through the use of technology. This unique agile office provides choices of space for Setfords’ professionals to work, rest, eat and play.
Our client had a clear vision; to provide a space for staff to thrive and enjoy their daily work. This office would be different, feeling luxurious and focussed on occupier wellbeing.
Our challenge was to enhance this vision, delivering furniture solutions that brought out the character and functionality of each space while remaining cohesive. Any furniture would have to be functional, adaptable and represent best available value.
Each floor and area was themed to support collaboration, including a suite of specialised meeting rooms catering for brief meetings, formal meetings and video-conferencing – and an executive ‘Partner office’ for MD Chris Setford.
The first floor features a fabulous bar and restaurant; in fact, the whole workplace feels more like an upmarket hotel than an office.
What We Did
Who We Worked With
This was our first project in partnership with Design & Build specialists The Bluum Group. Bluum founder and designer Bartosz Bergandy has known our Principal David Mackie for some twenty years, so it’s not surprising that there was instant rapport in our collaboration – leading to a great outcome for Setfords.
